Now, Federal Reserve officials identified the wide adoption of digital currencies and are putting together a long-term digital dollar, the FedCoin. One main concern with the FedCoin is today, when the Fed and treasury create money it gets funneled to the big banks but with the creation of the FedCoin those big banks would disappear, and we’d be forced to bank directly with the Fed.
